چکیده

Construction and demolition wastes (C&DWs) have raised a large number of ecological environmental problems. Recycling C&DWs into arecycled concrete aggregate (RCA) will help save natural resources effectively reduce the negative impact C&DW on environment. Innovative pervious (IPC) can mitigate extreme weather disasters, such as rainstorms, overcome low strength poor durability traditional concrete. In this study, innovative recycled (IRPC) is prepared by combining RCA with IPC, which has broad application prospects friendliness. This study investigates effect quality grades replacement rates mechanical property, permeability, sulfate resistance abrasion IRPC. IRPC mixtures were three different (high, medium qualities) aggregates named NA, RCA1 RCA2. Moreover, rate for NA varied 0%, 25%, 50%, 75% 100%. The specimens tested compressive strength, mass loss after wetting-drying cycles 0, 30 60. results exhibited that initial all types was more than 40 MPa. most increased first then decreased slightly passage cycles, indicating good to attack. Sulfate attack addition However, when lower better (attached mortar content < 25%), be improved under experimental might useful reference design methodology employing in pavement applications future.

Assessing relationships among properties of demolished concrete, recycled aggregate and recycled aggregate concrete using regression analysis.

Recycled demolished concrete (DC) as recycled aggregate (RA) and recycled aggregate concrete (RAC) is generally suitable for most construction applications. Low-grade applications, including sub-base and roadwork, have been implemented in many countries; however, higher-grade activities are rarely considered. This paper examines relationships among DC characteristics, properties of their RA and...

Recycled Plastics as Coarse Aggregate for Structural Concrete

The use of plastic is increasing day by day, although steps were taken to reduce its consumption. This creates substantial garbage every day which is much unhealthy. A healthy and sustainable reuse of plastics offers a host of advantages. The suitability of recycled plastics as coarse aggregate in concrete and its advantages are discussed here. The initial questions arising of the bond strength...

Reactivity in Recycled Concrete Aggregate

Full scale tests with crushed concrete used in sub-bases in roads show that the material has capacity to reharden, very slowly but also after prolonged periods of time. The rehardening process in crushed concrete aggregate has been analysed with a thermogravimetric method, comparing the change in chemical composition in the aggregate when set with water, compacted and hardened. It has been show...

The Fire Resistance Performance of Recycled Aggregate Concrete Columns with Different Concrete Compressive Strengths

In order to ascertain the fire resistance performance of recycled aggregate concrete (RAC) components with different concrete compressive strengths, four full-scaled concrete columns were designed and tested under high temperature. Two of the four specimens were constructed by normal concrete with compressive strength ratings of C20 and C30, respectively, while the others were made from recycle...
